A QME is an impartial psychiatric evaluation conducted for workers' compensation cases to assess mental health conditions related to workplace injuries.
I offer both forensic evaluations for legal and workers’ compensation cases, as well as treatment options for psychiatric conditions, including TMS therapy.
Evaluations typically last between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the case and the information needed.
A QME is an independent evaluator who provides an objective medical opinion for workers’ compensation cases. Unlike your treating doctor, who is responsible for your ongoing care, a QME does not provide treatment but instead evaluates your condition to help resolve disputes regarding your claim.
