About Me,
Jeremy Bass, MD, QME

Hi, I’m Dr. Jeremy Bass, a board-certified psychiatrist and Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) specializing in objective assessments for work-related mental health conditions, disability claims, and treatment recommendations. With extensive experience in clinical practice, behavioral informatics, and medical evaluations, I take an evidence-based approach to ensure fair and accurate evaluations. I am licensed in Texas and California, offering QME services across both states.

I earned my medical degree and completed my Psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where I served as Assistant Chief Resident. Over the years, I have worked with institutions like Terrell State Hospital, Emory University, and the University of California, San Diego, where I was an Associate Clinical Professor and Behavioral Informatics Lead. My expertise has also placed me in key decision-making committees focused on informatics, medical records, patient safety, and behavioral health. I have contributed to medical research, co-authoring a chapter in Clinical Informatics for Oncologic Emergencies, and have been recognized as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (2016) and one of America’s Top Doctors (2022).

What sets my approach apart is my dedication to clear communication and thorough medical assessments. I carefully review medical histories and reports to ensure precise, well-documented evaluations that help individuals navigate their claims and receive the support they need. If you’re looking for a trusted and experienced QME psychiatrist, I’m here to help. Contact me today to schedule your evaluation.
